How does the program support students with dyslexia?

• 6:1 Student Ratio

• 1:1 Student Structured Literacy Tutoring

• Extended time as needed for students. 

• Homework consists of work already explicitly worked on in class, and the student gets to practice 10-15 minutes at home to teach parents. 

• SOAR intermediate will be doing projects only discussed in class, and outside of school hours. This will help students better use and understand the information they are learning. They are encouraged to do these projects with other students in a fun and interactive group. 

• School day 'soft' start means that kids are coming to the school with parents or guardians at different times. We have structured educational activities going on with the students at this time. 

• Students will ONLY be able to leave with approved parents and guardians.
