Refund Policy (Calendar-Day Basis)

This refund policy applies equally to all Sunrise Oasis Academy of Reading students, including those participating in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program.

1. Withdrawal Before Instruction Begins

Families will receive a full refund of any tuition paid minus the $1,500 non-refundable deposit.

2. Withdrawal Within the First 30 Calendar Days

Families withdrawing within the first 30 calendar days of instruction will receive a prorated refund based on unused instructional days.

• The $1,500 deposit is not refundable.

3. Withdrawal After 30 Calendar Days

After the first 30 days of school, tuition becomes non-refundable, except in cases where instruction is not provided by Sunrise Oasis Academy.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

• The $1,500 August 1st deposit is non-refundable.

• Any future materials or application fees (if added) are non-refundable.

Refund Procedures for Utah Fits All Scholarship Students

In accordance with scholarship program requirements:

• All refunds for scholarship students will be returned directly to the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program Manager (Odyssey), not to parents.

• Refunds will be issued within 10 business days of withdrawal.

• The academy will promptly notify the Program Manager of the withdrawal and provide refund calculations.

• Sunrise Oasis Academy will not retain scholarship funds for services not delivered.

If a Utah Fits All Scholarship student withdraws, the school keeps only the portion of scholarship funds that match the days the student actually attended. Any unused tuition is returned to Odyssey, and the remaining scholarship money stays available in the student’s account for other educational expenses. Families do not receive money directly.

Reimbursement Support for Families Paying Out of Pocket

If a family pays tuition out of pocket while awaiting scholarship funding:

• The academy will provide itemized receipts showing the student name, payment date, and tuition period covered.

• Families may submit these receipts to Odyssey for reimbursement.

• All reimbursement decisions are made by Odyssey, not by the academy.
